These forty “equal symbol” watercolor illustrations were my alternative to violence during a campaign to support a local ordinance that would protect the LGBTQ community from unAmerican policies sweeping through the nation.

 The collection expanded into an expression of thoughts on race, gender, age, and other issues of privilege.

 There is a corresponding booklet that comes with each print that will guide the reader through the ideas with more thoughts on each topic.  The goal of this project is to open up a dialogue on some of the hardest things to talk about in our society.
